Michael Bannon, Owner and Lead Designer
Barely 18 years old, Michael Bannon was already being recognized for his exceptional "hand" at sketching various plans for the lumberyard where he once worked. "They needed someone to do quick sketches," remembers Bannon. "I was the one with the 'good hand.'" His obvious skill landed the young Bannon in an architectural firm where he was set to work sketching custom panelized houses. It was not long before Bannon's talents stretched into detailed moldings, custom built-ins and other finish coordination for loftier homes.

Major cabinet manufacturers now call on Michael Bannon to share his expertise on custom design technique. Several times a year, Bannon speaks to designers nationally about the use of moldings on cabinetry, mixing colors and other techniques that lift kitchens into the realm of fine furniture. Bannon's work has also been featured in Better Homes & Gardens, Kitchen and Bath Ideas, House Beautiful, Beautiful Baths, DIY, Custom Home and many regional publications.

Today, Michael Bannon's Showroom, Signature Kitchens of Saratoga, carries a solid reputation for innovative designs and high-quality products and installations. His 20 years as a designer of custom kitchens and bathrooms in New York's Capital Region is marked by enthusiastic referrals and a portfolio of some of the area's most stunning kitchens that reflect the character and integrity of each home and its owner.

Jennifer Mortka, Design Engineer
A native of the Capital Region, Jennifer Mortka brings a new level of enthusiasm to The Signature Cabinet Group in her position as Kitchen Designer. A graduate of SUNY Cobleskill, Jennifer is certified in 20/20 design software and AutoCad. She takes the lead on creating estimates for clients and also works hand in hand with our manufacturers to ensure smooth delivery of product. Her positive, professional attitude and responsiveness make calling The Signature Cabinet Group a pleasant experience for clients, contractors and vendors alike.
